The Consortium for the Protection of Treviso Red Radicchio and Variegated of Castelfranco was founded in 1996
as a result of the publication in the GUCE of Reg. (EC) 1263/96, which recognized protected Geographical areas for the Treviso Red Radicchio and the Variegated of Castelfranco.
